Role and Contribution
AAA will lead WP5 on preclinical theranostics; WP2, 4, 6 and 8 will also be a part of their contribution to the project. AAA will work in close collaboration in the field of radiochemistry/ radiopharmacy for the transfer of synthetic procedures from the R&D department to the production team. Strong collaborative relationships with academia will facilitate the establishment of pharmacological and preclinical studies protocols using different animal models. Close relations with nuclear medicine departments will be leveraged for the definition of clinical studies protocols involving PET and SPECT diagnostics and radiotherapy agents.
Maria Azzurra Filannino
Chemist, born 1977. PhD in Biomedical Technologies, University of Milano-Bicocca, achieved in 2007.
She joined AAA in 2006 as Research & Development projects
responsible in the field of radiochemistry.
Jean Philippe Meunier
Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Health and Nutrition, University of Clermont Ferrand. Prior to joining AAA as Coordinator of R & D projects, he worked for several years in the Technology Laboratory of Nutrition and Food University of Pharmacy of Clermont Ferrand in the development of in vitro method for the study drug or food in the digestive environment.
Production Technician, born 1992. He holds a higher technical Diplomain bioanalyses and controls. As part of his studies, he performed a 2-month internship within a research laboratory at the Faculty of Pharmacy/Hôpital de la Timone in Marseille.
